Around East Texas… Pittsburg

Spend the Day in Historic Downtown Pittsburg Texas with its charming main street of restaurants, museums, attractions and ample antique shopping.

 

The Ice House  – Start your stroll at the north end of Downtown at 149 Quitman. This thrift shop is actually a non-profit operation benefiting Cypress Basin Hospice.

 

 

 

 

Rick’s Antique Safari  – a short walk toward the center of downtown leads to 121 Quitman. For 23 years, Rick has been the resident antique expert. From primitives to pop culture, his selection is vast.

 

 

 

 

All Occasions Antique Mall – Right across the street 128 Quitman is quite an assortment of China, Dolls, Textiles, Furniture, Tools and much more in this huge mall packed full of antiques.

 

 

 

 

Texas Junkin Ladies – The next stop is next door at 122 Quitman. These ladies scour garage sales and flea markets in search of treasures for every room.

 

 

 

 

Max-n-Zoe’s – Walk on down to 106 Quitman for unique painted primitives and a non-profit providing prom attire for less-fortunate kids.

 

 

 

 

 

Pittsburg Hot Links – You’re probably starving by now, so walk one street over to 136 W. Marshall and get yourself  a world famous hot link.

 

 

 

 

 

Northeast Texas Rural Heritage Museum – Don’t miss 200 W. Marshall to see the Ezekiel Airship and Depot museum.
